We just happened to be at the mall one morning when the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Shop welcomed dozens of school children from a local international school for a tour of their facility. Each child was given a paper KK hat and they were taken in small groups inside to see how doughnuts are made. I don’t recall ever getting to do something like that on the school field trips I can remember!

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is KSA's 2nd largest city and is located on its west coast, right on the Red Sea. I moved here in 2007 with my Saudi hubby and teenage son. This journal reflects the things that I see here, life through my eyes, my lens.

And best of all they got to eat some doughnuts! Looks like they had a fun day.
We never had such fun school outings in Chicago either.
These are lucky kids.
No Disney world for them!
