Living Above a Restaurant

Many commercial buildings in Jeddah have a business at ground level and residential apartments, or flats, on several floors above.  With the heavy traffic and the way businesses operate into the wee hours of the morning, I don’t think I would like living in such an arrangement.

    Actually I do find the acoustics here in our home much better than our home in Florida, so you may have a point there about the noise!!!

  2. I agree with you. However, I did experience living in downtown Chicago on the 12th floor of a building and I got used to the hum of traffic. I think the building was pretty well insullated though. Some are not.
