Another photo taken from a moving car. This is a new area of Jeddah where construction is booming. The growth here is phenomenal. Because of its location on the Red Sea, Jeddah’s growth pushes north and south along the shoreline, so it’s a very elongated city. We’re not usually out at sunset because of prayer times, so I felt lucky to see this spectacular pink sky at just the right moment. I’m sure it would have been much prettier set on the Red Sea, but I just have to take what I can get!

About This Blog, and About Me: Susie of Arabia
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is KSA's 2nd largest city and is located on its west coast, right on the Red Sea. I moved here in 2007 with my Saudi hubby and teenage son. This journal reflects the things that I see here, life through my eyes, my lens.
Please be sure to also visit my other blog, SUSIE'S BIG ADVENTURE, which relates my experiences, thoughts, and observations about living in Saudi Arabia.
