Fish Sculpture

The City of Jeddah is rich with public displays of art, mostly in the form of sculptures. I have previously posted many photos of the unique sculptures of Jeddah, and I am pleased to present this one, although I haven’t been able to find out any specific information about it. This enormous beautiful fish sculpture appears to be made of bronze and is located in the middle of a canal which divides several lanes of traffic in the Obhur area north of the city. The Obhur area is famed for its Red Sea beach resorts and offers diving and fishing.

I remember passing this sculpture. There was a car in the canal with it and a group of men trying to fish it out! 🙂

    That is a great sculpture.

How does it feel to be back?

That is a particularly intriguing sculpture, and I am sure despite the high quality of your photo, is more striking in reality.
