Juice World

Fresh squeezed juices are a very popular drink here in Saudi Arabia. Because alcohol is strictly forbidden by law, juice bars and coffee houses abound. This juice shop is very modern and clean, like many here. Notice how oranges, limes, lemons and other fresh fruits are used as decor inside the tall clear cylinders throughout the shop. I know you’re going to ask if these are used to make the juice, and my guess would be that they have to, otherwise the fruit would eventually go bad. I have seen many juice bars that use fresh fruits in their visual displays. Click here to see one that I featured on a previous post.

Nice shot! I just wonder how long does it take to squeeze all the oranges?

These folks just don’t know how to have fun. Yet the juice bar does look inviting.

  6. I enlarged the photo and think that the fruit decorations are indeed quite cool! Refreshing and healthy!
