Fresh squeezed juices are a very popular drink here in Saudi Arabia. Because alcohol is strictly forbidden by law, juice bars and coffee houses abound. This juice shop is very modern and clean, like many here. Notice how oranges, limes, lemons and other fresh fruits are used as decor inside the tall clear cylinders throughout the shop. I know you’re going to ask if these are used to make the juice, and my guess would be that they have to, otherwise the fruit would eventually go bad. I have seen many juice bars that use fresh fruits in their visual displays. Click here to see one that I featured on a previous post.
About This Blog, and About Me: Susie of Arabia
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is KSA's 2nd largest city and is located on its west coast, right on the Red Sea. I moved here in 2007 with my Saudi hubby and teenage son. This journal reflects the things that I see here, life through my eyes, my lens.
Please be sure to also visit my other blog, SUSIE'S BIG ADVENTURE, which relates my experiences, thoughts, and observations about living in Saudi Arabia.
