No, this is not an Indian character from the movie “Dances With Wolves” – this is an example of how many children ride in cars here in Saudi Arabia. Generally speaking, Saudis do not believe in wearing seatbelts, so they do not impose this safety rule on their children either.

    That’s strange to me but I do see things like that here too, just not as often as I did years ago, before it was against the law to have a child riding without a seatbelt. But it’s hard to inforce.

    I find it bad enough when dogs put there faces out the window, but at least they are dogs. But, hey, that’s not my kid.
