Saudi Arabia is steeped in culture, tradition and religion and in many ways, it feels as though you are stepping back in time. Yet the newer construction in Jeddah can be unbelievably modern and unique. This building is quite an unusual shape and design and, like many of the modern business buildings, makes use of lots of blue reflective glass for a clean and sleek look that compliments the backdrop of the Red Sea which Jeddah is built along. The rainbow colored design which runs up the heighth of the building is really different and reminds me of a child’s musical keyboard toy.

About This Blog, and About Me: Susie of Arabia
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is KSA's 2nd largest city and is located on its west coast, right on the Red Sea. I moved here in 2007 with my Saudi hubby and teenage son. This journal reflects the things that I see here, life through my eyes, my lens.
Please be sure to also visit my other blog, SUSIE'S BIG ADVENTURE, which relates my experiences, thoughts, and observations about living in Saudi Arabia.
