SkyWatch: China Town in Jeddah


This is a brand new mall in Jeddah that has not quite opened yet. It was interesting watching the progress of it being built and how the Oriental style developed. I’m hoping there will be a few good Chinese restaurants opening up there soon!

    great comments but exactly where is china mall?

    • Hi James – I believe it’s no longer called China Mall, but you can’t miss this building on Batterjee Road just west of Sultan Road (behind Sultan Mall), near the Allah Sailboat Sculpture Circle.

    it was a nice step to find many of Chinese products in there so we really waiting for it as much as we care to get a nice china product

  5. Wow, Susie! We usually see a rainbow IN the sky. Very fun to see this colorful one below it on the Chinatown buildings. Great skywatch capture.

  9. Beautiful sky…I agree with Dina thought, the buildings do look a bit like giant legos in their primary colors.
