I watched for several months as this brand new gas station was being built. I knew it was going to be an unusual ultra-modern structure. To me, it turned out looking like a real space-age refueling station, and I would almost expect to see George Jetson flying up for a refill any minute now… Gas is very inexpensive here, and gas stations are all full-service (there are NO self-serve stations here), PLUS customers receive free boxes of tissues or liters of water with every purchase!

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is KSA's 2nd largest city and is located on its west coast, right on the Red Sea. I moved here in 2007 with my Saudi hubby. This journal reflects the things that I see here, life through my eyes, my lens.

It must be nice to have oil right there in the back yard.
There’s a really fancy gas station here in Riyadh on Tahlia Street. It has marble floors, expensive cars on display, and a cafe.
Great post. I always learn something new when I visit.
