Tea Time

I was captivated when I saw these beautiful and colorful tea and coffee sets in a store window at a mall. Complete with pots, cups, saucers, serving trays and a collapsible stand, these whimsical beverage collections (service for twelve) come in a variety of colors and styles. The blue set above is an underwater theme with little fish and other sea life incorporated into the design. I like the lavendar design below too. In both photos you can see yet another design in coral, blue, and yellow. Guests in Saudi Arabian homes are always served tea and Gahwa (Arabian coffee). I would imagine that sets like these are both useful and popular in many homes.

Fun! Gahwa daiman. (Do they say that in your country? We learned that it is a blessing the Bedouin say here, meaning May we always drink coffee together.)

I like both sets–good for different moods, or occasions.

I’ve never seen any so ornate! Such beautiful things, I would be afraid to use them for fear of breaking.
