Made in the Shade

During break times from work, hard laborers try to head for a place with shade to get out of the blazing sun here in Saudi Arabia. It’s not uncommon to see these workers congregated underneath large trucks or flatbeds like the guys in this photo. Interestingly enough, I just read this article in Arab News about how the Ministry of Labor has come up with a safety plan to keep workers out of the sun in Saudi Arabia during the hottest times. Thumbs Up!!!

Or maybe they’re playing “hide and go seek” during their break??

  2. No proper resting place to escape the heat – that sure shows how KSA treats its immigrant workers.

How small is man. This is a great picture of our situation, somehow.
