Barbar Shop

Here in Jeddah, many times businesses that are in direct competition are located right next door to each other or are all located in the same area for blocks and blocks. I thought it was cute how one sign says “Barber Shop” and the business right next door has a sign that says “Barbar Shop,” although its window lettering says “Barber Shop.” With so many foreign workers here, English signage often contains words that are misspelled.

I remember the misspellings and funny English sentences in Japan when I was teaching there back in 1990!
