Fresh Meat and Produce Market

This is a very typical small grocery store that offers a very limited number of products. Hanging carcasses in the shop windows are a very common sight. We usually shop at the very large and modern Western-style supermarkets instead of the small markets like this one. I love the bright sign and its reflection on the hood of our vehicle below. I also like the slice of life I captured going on inside the shop.

    I heard that butchers hang the whole carcass to assure customers the sheep is local. Apparently demand for imported meat is low

    I looked closely but couldn’t see the cats or the flies. Maybe they’ve cleaned things up since I lived in the Kingdom.
