View from Atop Naseef House

Naseef House is one of the old buildings located in Old Jeddah. It is over 100 years old and today is a museum and the place where walking tours of the historical area called Al-Balad (Arabic for the city or the town) begin and end. The building is several stories high, and the views from its rooftop are incredible. At prayer time, one can also hear the calls to prayer from dozens of nearby mosques and it’s quite an overwhelming and spiritual experience. For more information and photos of the Al-Balad area, please see this post I wrote several months ago after a lovely tour I took there.
