I’ve Got An Itch…

When camels itch, they can’t really scratch themselves, so they have to use their minds and get creative. These two photos show how a camel uses a barbed wire post of the camel enclosure to alleviate an itch on her neck and jaw.

    lol Susie you are amazing, I think this is the only picture in the whole world which shows a camel scratching its self!

    • Thanks, Pathfinder! That’s why I thought it might be interesting – it’s one of those things that we don’t necessarily think about all the time, but might wonder how DO they scratch themselves when they itch?
