Outdoor Incense

This is an enormous incense burner outside a local business here in Jeddah. There are actually three smaller incense burners on top of it. These huge incense burners can be seen/found at most malls and shopping centers around the city and are usually burning incense, the scent of which wafts through air.

Hi Susie thanks for sharing all these photos. My husband worked in Saudi for 5 yrs and my brother in law is actually in Jeddah right now working as a chef at the 4 seasons these photos brought back some good memories for my husband, and it’s easy to see how a man would have good memories living in Saudi.
    thanks again,
    Jana

    • You’re most welcome, Jana – You’re right – I think men working here might be more inclined to have better memories of this place than women.

Yeah it ain’t easy for women to adapt to life here, especially when coming from western societies but Susie appears to be loving it (or at least trying to). and once you meet the right and cool Saudis, you’ll enjoy it.

      • Sari – I wouldn’t exactly call my experience here as “lovin’ it,” but I try to make the best out of it and try to focus on the positives, which can be difficult at times!

I love the smell of this thing and I wish to buy one this big but these things are very expensive!
