When I enter the beautiful Il Villaggio Restaurant in Jeddah, I feel as though I am stepping into a gorgeous Italian villa. The stained glass dome (above) is spectacular sight at the entryway of the restaurant. Just beneath the stained glass are a variety of lovely images of scenes from Italy (below).
My husband and I spent a wonderful evening in January enjoying the food, service, architecture, and the company of other guests for a very special occasion, the kick-off of Il Villaggio’s 5th Annual International Day of Italian Cuisines. To read more about our experience, CLICK HERE.
The Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards are in the voting stage right now through March 3. CLICK HERE to vote for Il Villaggio Restaurant, which has been nominated in the Fine Dining category.

It’s a bright and cheery ceiling.
That ceiling is rich. I love it. I bet the food is good also.
Fantastic, stained-glass dome! Molto bello!
Ciao Susie!
Gosh that top image is stunning Susie, that is my very favorite colour combination, I hope that the food was as inspired as the decor.
