Alcoholic beverages are totally outlawed in Saudi Arabia, but that doesn’t stop them from utilizing fancy drink glasses for their beverages. The sweet colorful concoctions almost always contain a variety of fruit juices. I never knew so many different fruit juices were available before moving here! Fancy drinks are readily available in restaurants, and when visiting Saudi homes, fruit drinks are almost always offered to guests, as well as Arabian coffee and tea.
About This Blog, and About Me: Susie of Arabia
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is KSA's 2nd largest city and is located on its west coast, right on the Red Sea. I moved here in 2007 with my Saudi hubby. This journal reflects the things that I see here, life through my eyes, my lens.
Please be sure to also visit my other blog, SUSIE OF ARABIA (formerly SUSIE'S BIG ADVENTURE), which relates my experiences, thoughts, and observations about living in Saudi Arabia.

I thought that looked like an unusual margarita. We like ours with prickly pear cactus syrup. Mmmm
The fruit juice looks tasty. The pretty glasses make the drinks look that much more special.
