This is an exterior shot of the beautiful International Medical Center (IMC) in Jeddah. It was designed by famed Saudi architect Sami Angawi. The interior is as lovely as the exterior.
About This Blog, and About Me: Susie of Arabia
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is KSA's 2nd largest city and is located on its west coast, right on the Red Sea. I moved here in 2007 with my Saudi hubby. This journal reflects the things that I see here, life through my eyes, my lens.

I’ve been trying for 2 years to get hired there, but they won’t hire anyone from where I work because our Chairman won’t give no-objection to re-hire letters, and when he finds out any of us money-makers have defected, he sues the new employers. stupid. I’d love to start over there. Oh well. Nice picture, thanks!
Sorry to hear about that, Anastasia. Sounds like a lot of dirty politics going on where you work. All the employees that we’ve come into contact with at IMC seem to be really happy working there.
gah..! all the more painful. lol. It’s the 24th and we still haven’t been paid for May. Dirty indeed.
I’m so sorry – that is just so wrong – and un-Islamic as well.
I like the design.
Hi Mike – It really is a gorgeous structure – the details are exquisite.
