About This Blog, and About Me: Susie of Arabia
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is KSA's 2nd largest city and is located on its west coast, right on the Red Sea. I moved here in 2007 with my Saudi hubby. This journal reflects the things that I see here, life through my eyes, my lens.
Please be sure to also visit my other blog, SUSIE OF ARABIA (formerly SUSIE'S BIG ADVENTURE), which relates my experiences, thoughts, and observations about living in Saudi Arabia.

A large part of Jeddah sports this style of streetlights. I think they are really unique and I love the intricate wrought iron details. Wrought iron is very popular here in Saudi Arabia.
This is a large temporary sign on a banner indicating the location of the men’s and women’s prayer rooms in a local mall here in Jeddah. I’m fond of the figures used to distinguish men from women on this sign. … Continue reading
This sculpture is called The Essence is Gold. It is made of bronze and was created by the artist E. Dest. I wasn’t able to find any further information about the artist or this piece. It occupies a space along … Continue reading
